The Truth that Transforms is the ministry of two friends, Joel Berger and Dave Triano. In 2013 God produced a restlessness in both of these men to explore a 'new direction' together. The result of this quickening is the project you see before you: A comfortable, conversational discussion dealing with the Truth of God's word in the lives of these two Christian men.
Joel was the Teaching Pastor at Hilltop Community Church in Carson City/Gardnerville, Nevada from 1974 to 2020. His passion to teach God's Word and disciple people has led to a life rich in experience, and the light of Jesus shines vividly from Joel and his amazing wife Marylee. Together they have raised a beautiful family and enjoy the content lifestyle present in the saving grace and peace of Jesus Christ.
Dave is an Industrial Designer and creator of beautiful things, to the glory of his Creator. He lives in South Lake Tahoe, California with his patient wife Shauna and amazing son Anthony. His older son Andrew has set forth on his own life and is currently working on his Doctorate at the University of Boulder in Colorado. Dave's perspective on life as a Christian man spans over 50 years, and he is finally learning how to life a life of quiet joy in our Lord Jesus.
